About Saudi Umrah Visa

Welcome to Saudi Umrah Visa, your dedicated independent resource for navigating the evolving landscape of pilgrimage travel.

Our Story: From Jeddah to Hyderabad

The idea for this platform was born in 2023. Our founder, Mohammad Zafaruddin, recognised a significant gap in the information available to pilgrims. Having lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and now based in Hyderabad, India, Mohammad experienced first-hand the complexities of shifting visa regulations, the introduction of the Nusuk platform, and the logistical hurdles pilgrims face.

What began as a personal mission to help friends and family navigate their spiritual journeys evolved into this comprehensive digital guide. Mohammad has spent years providing free-of-charge assistance—helping pilgrims with visa applications, finding the right hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and securing the best airfare options—simply out of a passion for serving the community.

Our Mission

At Saudi Umrah Visa, our goal is simple: To provide reliable, up-to-date, and simplified information in one place. We understand that performing Umrah is a once-in-a-lifetime journey for many. Our mission is to remove the “information overwhelm” so you can focus on your spiritual preparation while we handle the technical updates.

How We Ensure Accuracy

In an era of rapidly changing rules, “good enough” information isn’t enough. To ensure the highest level of accuracy for the 2026 (1447 AH) season, Mohammad personally oversees all content by:

  • Daily Monitoring: We track official announcements from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

  • Platform Tracking: We provide real-time updates on the Nusuk and Absher platforms.

  • On-the-Ground Insight: Leveraging deep connections within the Saudi travel industry to provide “insider” tips that general travel sites miss.

Meet the Founder

Mohammad Zafaruddin is the primary voice and lead researcher behind this site. His unique perspective—combining his time living in the Kingdom with his current base in India—allows him to understand the specific needs of international pilgrims, especially those travelling from South Asia, the UK, USA, and Canada.

Transparency & Trust

  • Independence: Saudi Umrah Visa is an independent informational resource. We are not a travel agency, nor are we affiliated with any government body. This allows us to provide unbiased, honest advice.

  • Giving Back: We remain committed to helping pilgrims. If you have a question that isn’t answered on our site, we encourage you to reach out.
