The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced complimentary storage services for Umrah performers in Makkah.
Convenient Storage Locations
Pilgrims can now securely store their belongings at two designated areas:
- Eastern Side: Near the Makkah Library.
- Western Side: Adjacent to Gate 64.
Accessing the Service
To utilize these storage facilities, Umrah performers must:
- Present Permits: Show valid Umrah permits via the Nusuk app.
- Adhere to Guidelines:
- Item Restrictions: Only bags up to 7 kilograms are allowed; loose items, valuables, prohibited items, food, and medicine are not accepted.
- Time Limit: Storage is available for a maximum of four hours.
- Retrieve Belongings: Provide the issued claim ticket upon collection.

The authority aims to extend this service across all areas surrounding the Grand Mosque, enhancing convenience and security for visitors.
